Which do you like best? Why? Would you recommend full over the top or the one with snaps. This is just for trips, I have a hanger. Thanks in advance for your knowledge. Cheers…Rob

Bruce would not stand behind his word in my transaction, but he did give me my money back. Never got to try them on

I have a skylight so over the top was an easy decision for me.

I too have a hangar but wanted something for trips and got
a cover from Bruce for the flight back from the factory. I then
went a little crazy and got covers for the rest of the plane for
flights down south which have yet to happen. There was a problem
with the wing pattern but Bruce made it right.

Don't bypass Cunningham covers of Arlington WA, they are worth looking at and lighter.

I got the over the top Bruce that covers all the windows. Protection from sunlight and out of sight out of mind for headsets, etc. Once I got a system for taking off and putting back on they have served as part of the preflight post flight ritual.

Ditto Jeremy.

I have a Cunningham cover on my M5 and love it.

He has patterns for at least M5's and M7's you just need to provide antennae info.

i'm also looking for a canopy cover for my MXT-7 as it seems that the doors and the gaps where the wings meet the fuselage are not really waterproof.

I have a hangar but will be out from time to time on trips where the plane will stay outside. For those trips, I'm not keen on carrying a lot of weight and moreover a big bag with the cover around as I'd need space for other luggage.

Spruce sells these light weight travel covers, but I can't imagine how they perform by just reading the text and the price...

What is your experience with the various covers and a good advice for me?

I have a Bruce cover for the cockpit and the tail feathers. Heavy but high quality. A PIA to install until you get the hang of it. Pretty pricey but thats airplanes...

I have the Kennon cover I used when the plane was parked outside in the winter. Quality product. Bulky and a little weird to put on but quick once you get the hang of it. Kind of much for occasional use and would take up a lot of space on trips. I have another cover, white, made out of the same material as the non-plastic bags you see around now days. Don't know who makes it but it is light, compact and really keeps the heat out of the cabin on hot days.
