Ive been tearing down my M5-210c. Found rust in the lower tubing inside the Fuselage Side frames, (Maule drawing 1009B) or as Yellowmaule says, the curvy holy things. So how does one go about repairing that? Seems like I would have to cut out the whole vertical tubing along with the curvy holy things.

If it is just the bottom, I'm pretty sure you can splice it as per a.c. 43-13, you may have to get a new "banana" and use a portion of it for the repair.
