Just bought a M5-235C in La Grange, TX and flew it back to Ann Arbor, MI yesterday with a stop in Shreveport to have breakfast with a retired captain from my airline. Fun trip with about 8.5 hours of flying. Mother nature cooperated for the most part with not throwing to many storms in our way.
Good way to learn the new aircraft.

Welcome home!
Glad you had a good trip and hope you enjoy your new Maule. I fly an M5/210C and am at 24M Wilderness Airpark north of Grand Rapids. Nice to have another one in Michigan.

Congrats on the new bird. I hope you enjoy working and playing on the 2 extremes of the flying spectrum. I always like it when I hear that the pilots of the airliners I'm riding in enjoy aviation enough to play around with simple stick and rudder flying on weekends.

Hi,
Try your luck at the casino in Manistee? if you are thru this way again I am usually around home. Brown house and hanger on the northeast corner of the runway. If I head your way I will let you know. Thanks.
