Golf cart type vehicles are still prevalent in Avalon and a DC3 still flys supply missions between the mainland and the Island. The approach to 22 requires a high to low approach due to down drafts if the wind is up and since the runway has an uphill slant, the visual looks like you're gonna land nose down. My previous aircraft, a Malibu Mirage with its' higher landing speed and performance required a lot of the runway which took some getting used to. In the Maule it's a piece of cake.
