Here is a quick video from last Friday at Copalis State airport (S16). I forgot to turn the camera on for the initial landing so took off and did a T&G. Beautiful day but Marine layer was starting to roll in.
After walking the beach we found the beach had been sculpted over the winter and landing beyond the "runway marker" is a really good idea due to soft sand. If you land near the river be sure it is well into the tide zone where the sand is more firm.

What a great spot! I miss the northwest. We're still working on a move back to that area. Perhaps I'll see you on that beach next summer. Keep the enticing videos coming so we keep our motivation to make the move across the country.
